Collin M. Skerritt
Collin Skerritt is a graduate of Naropa Institute, the first accredited Buddhist university in the U.S. He has adegree in Psychology and writing, with supplemental study in music and arts at Brooks Institute and
Bennington College.
Collin served ten years at the Washington State Department of Services for the Blind as
occupational therapy assistant for blind and deaf staff. While he also led for ten years at Carkeek Park
Veterinary Hospital as transition manager and senior client care coordinator, other professional cornerstones have been in the film and television industry, jazz percussion and radio, health and nutrition. Collin is a weekend artist, writer and jazz historian.
After completing two Orton-Gillingham trainings, he is now working through additional certifications and
advancing toward a Certified Academic Language Therapist track through the Atlantic Seaboard Dyslexia Education Center in Maryland.
