Who We Are
Jerome Mayoral, M. Ed.
Jerome’s diverse experiences as Professional Development Trainer and Coach, Orton Gillingham Implementation Science Practioner and Education Leader. Supporting diverse schools and educators from early childhood, elementary and secondary, to adult transition, Jerome is passionate about mentoring all levels of educators as lifelong learners and continually evolving professionals. Expert coaching inculdes supporting students from early childhood to adulthood with the following learning profiles: dyslexia, dysgraphia, emergent multilinguals, ADHD, autism spectrum, those with significant learning loss, as well as gifted and twice exceptional.
Jerome effortlessly connects with students, families and educators. After overcoming personal and family hurdles of dyslexia through private literacy sessions and hard work, Jerome found success personally and professionally! With a Masters in English Immersion and years of study, practice and leadership in the Neuroscience of Learning, Jerome has encountered a wide variety of opportunities from which she draws to meet the needs of students, families and educators.
Jerome’s resolve to see students, families and schools flourish inspires within a deep desire to provide guidance in student and educator needs, in understanding the implementation science of literacy best practices, supporting student and educator strengths. This is accomplished by constructing a safe inclusive environment, ensuring students and educators are able to focus on best practices for growth. Establishing quality implementation early on, allows all to benefit from space for fully instructional growth. Jerome is empowering all to reach new levels of mastery utilizing exceptional compassion alongside the rigor of the multimodal components of the ever evolving Orton Gillingham approach. Advocating for and supporting students and educators across a variety of communities is her lifelong passion.

Collin M. Skerritt
Collin Skerritt is a graduate of Naropa Institute, the first accredited Buddhist university in the U.S. He has a degree in Psychology and writing, with supplemental study in music and arts at Brooks Institute and Bennington College.
Collin served ten years at the Washington State Department of Services for the Blind as occupational therapy assistant for blind and deaf staff. While he also led for ten years at Carkeek Park Veterinary Hospital as transition manager and senior client care coordinator, other professional cornerstones have been in the film and television industry, jazz percussion and radio, health and nutrition. Collin is a weekend artist, writer and jazz historian.
After completing two Orton-Gillingham trainings, he is now working through additional certifications and advancing toward a Certified Academic Language Therapist track through the Atlantic Seaboard Dyslexia Education Center in Maryland.
